Dog
I have a dog named Bo to get me out of the house everyday and onto the trails behind my house in Marin. He’s a 10-year-old Retriever Chow mix with a missing back hip, the result of an unplanned automobile accident. The daily walks we’ve taken together have calmed me and exhausted him. He’s old though. 70 plus. And I’ve got lots on my mind until I see the green grassy hills and let him off-leash. He’s still getting used to other dogs (I blame this on the Chow which wrestles his otherwise playful Retriever temperament into submission) so I have to keep an eye on him and other dogs. Check out SUNOL state park south on 680 before San Jose. They called it the Little Yosemite. Dog Heaven!
